I Don’t Know Nothin’, but…

…if this is true (and I believe it is), Hebrews 9:27  says:  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

then, is Lazarus still around?  What about the folks that came up out of the graves after Jesus gave up the Ghost?  John the Revelator?

Just wondering…

A BEAUTIFUL POEM ABOUT GROWING OLDER:

I hope this poem has the same effect on you as it did on me –
then my forwarding it will be worth the effort.

Walk with me as I age…

 Dern..I forgot the words..

Pay Attention

I have a big problem with deception.

I don’t like to be deceived.  It’s not to say I never deceived anyone.  I had very strict parents, and sometimes I had to tell them I was going to the library when, really, I just wanted to get out of the house, smoke a cigarette.  But that’s not the type of deception I’m talking about today.

This is more like mass hypnosis, almost.  Auto-suggestion.  Conditioning.  I really can’t take it anymore and I have this forum now to say something about it.

I HATE THE TERM:  GO GREEN

I love conserving my resources and saving money. I love being efficient.  I love being obedient.  My issue is not about being a good steward of my beautiful world.  My problem is that the “change” that is coming is so closely flaunted in front of our faces that we cannot see it. Change? Let me tell you something about “going green.”

GREEN IS THE OFFICIAL COLOR OF ISLAM.

My Jesus said, “Look up!”

Luke 21:28
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

I know that in my profile I said I wouldn’t talk about politics here.  However, these United States are a part of my beautiful world, and I feel gifted to live here and speak freely and pray out loud.  God bless America, indeed.  I just want to know who’s looking up when the father of lies has bestowed these neat little boxes that keep us in touch with each other, up-to-date on current events and weather, AND CONSISTENTLY LOOKING DOWN.

I love my cell phone.  After all, it’s a portable computer for me.  Oh, it’s especially handy in an emergency when I’m out and about, and that’s why I bought one in the first place, isn’t it?  In case of emergency?  How pathetic it is, but how clever of the Devil, to keep everyone distracted from the Word of God, and to keep everyone looking down.  How many people do you know that don’t have one?

Guard your heart, and keep your eyes and ears open.  Don’t fall for everything you hear or see without checking it out first with our Father in Heaven.  Think about it, the Lord came down and spent time with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.  The serpent spoke.  What would have happened, if either Adam or Eve took the time to ask the Lord if what the serpent had told them was true or not?

Love u all, and God bless u

Anthro-Inspired Hat

http://idesignadventures.blogspot.com/2011/11/anthro-inspired-hat.html

This is my third attempt to post this properly….

I made this hat for a baby shower that we recently held at church.  I made three hats, but this was the show-stopper.  I used baby weight yarn.  I made the body white, I used a different flower pattern and made it in lilac, but then I sewed a button in the center of my simple, one-layer flower.  It was a glass button that shimmered with green, pink and blue tones.  I wish I was smart enough to take a picture of the hats I made.  I told you, I’m new at this!

The crocheter’s blog site is pasted next to the picture.  She saw this hat in an Anthropologie store and said it retailed around $50!  Since I stopped shopping at malls after the birth of my first child – I had four more after him – I buy my yarn at Wal-Mart and try to make snazzy things that look expensive!

I hope you try it.  It’s beautiful when done.

Grace and Peace to All!

Hi, everyone,

This is Diana, Anthony’s wife.  I’d like to take a moment of your time to thank you all for the supportive prayers you have sent our way.  Your fervent prayers have indeed been effectual, and we are so grateful to have a family of believers worldwide.  It is very comforting you are there for us.

You will see me here from time to time, but not as frequently as you see wdednh!  I am so excited to be a part of your site.  I only hope I can bring a fraction of the insight you contribute, but remember, I am new to this!

Okay, then, can’t wait to talk to you soon!

Love,

Diana
